The CBSE conducts CBSE Class 10 exams every year in pen and paper mode for students studying in Class 10. Those who clear their Class 9 exams from any recognised board of education and have studied for a year in Class 10 are eligible to sit for CBSE 10th board examinations. Students are required to pay the examination fees to register for these exams.

Only for this year, the Board has decided to conduct the CBSE board exams in two terms. The move was taken to cover for any uncertain situation caused due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
